The existence of the trees are vital for our planet. Trees can prevent soil degradation effects, providing food, energy and income. Trees also filter the air and help prevent global climate change immediately and locally.
Not only that, the trees are tough and durable natural "fort" that protect us from extreme natural events such as hurricanes, floods, landslides and snowstorms. The longer the trees grew and settled in one place, the stronger is the protection provided.
Today, April 22, 2016 Earth Day is celebrated by the whole population of the world. It is important to remember that Earth Day is not just a celebration. Let's do the simple things that we can to save the planet!
